Parking
The free Sandal Castle car park has a solid, smooth surface and a slight slope. There are no dedicated accessible bays and spaces are limited.
Toilets
Toilets are available to café customers while the café is open. There is no Changing Places facility on the site.
Wheelchair access
The outer path around the castle earthworks is accessible to most wheelchairs. Some surfaces are uneven and some parts of the historic site are steep.
Pushchairs
The outer path is accessible to most pushchairs. Some historic terrain is steep or uneven.
Castle grounds
The castle keep is reached by a long flight of steep steps. The site is exposed and can be windy; paths may be wet or uneven depending on the weather.
